The Nashville Predators are gearing up for hopefully another deep playoff run. In an attempt to add even more depth to their already stellar roster, it looks like the Predators will see Eeli Tolvanen on their roster in the immediate future.
Nashville selected the young star in the 1st round of the NHL Entry Draft. With the 30th selection overall, this was a huge steal.
Rumors circulated that Tolvanen would join the Preds once his season ended with Jokerit Helsinki. He played with the KHL club this season, but two have mutually parted ways. Now that Jokerit has been eliminated in the KHL playoffs, it’ll be no time until he steps on NHL ice.
#Jokerit and @eeli1999 have mutually agreed to terminate the player’s contract. What a season for the boy wonder! We thank Eeli for his fantastic performances and wish him the best of luck in future games! #KHL pic.twitter.com/VDLuZwGeEJ

Tolvanen certainly turned heads playing professionally. In 49 games played, Tolvanen recorded 36-points, which is a KHL record for players under the age of 19.
Jokerit Helsinki and forward Eeli Tolvanen have officially parted ways.
