Brad Marchand was in awe after Team Canada’s opening win over Sweden in the 4 Nations Face-Off. Luckily, he was mic’d up as he entered the locker room postgame—and he had the most hilarious reaction to Sidney Crosby’s performance.
Marchand and Team Canada got off to a great start in the tournament, coming out flying in their opener against Sweden. Marchand even found the back of the net, but it was Sidney Crosby who stole the show.
The captain recorded three assists, including one on Mitch Marner’s game-winner in the 4-3 overtime victory.
Brad Marchand mic’d up
Brad Marchand couldn’t help but admire Crosby’s performance. Fortunately, the Bruins star was mic’d up when he entered the locker room, and his reaction was priceless.
“Man, you guys are fun to watch,” Marchand said to his teammates while walking to his stall. “I might be the biggest fan here.”
Sitting between Mitch Marner and Connor McDavid, Marchand also chirped Crosby in the most hilarious way.
“Risky play there at the end, 8-7,” Brad Marchand joked. “Eh? Between the legs, back to our zone? Not a big deal. Then he decided to go for a loop down in the corner after, too. Almost went offside.”
