Marc-André Fleury started his career in Quebec. The Pittsburgh Penguins drafted him first overall in 2003, making him only the third goalie in NHL history to go first. The two before him were Michel Plasse and Rick DiPietro.

Fleury later played for the Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild before retiring after the 2024–25 season.
