The Los Angeles Kings are an NHL team based in Los Angeles, USA. Founded in 1967, the team competes in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the NHL. The Kings play their home games at the Crypto.com Arena and have won two Stanley Cups in franchise history.

Los Angeles Kings History

The NHL expanded for the 1967-68 season in an attempt to outcompete the WHA. Los Angeles was awarded a franchise in 1966, and a year later, they began playing in the NHL at the Forum in Inglewood. In 1988, the Kings acquired Wayne Gretzky from the Edmonton Oilers in one of the biggest trades in league history.
