The Florida Panthers are a professional ice hockey team based in Sunrise, Florida. Competing in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the NHL, they play their home games at Amerant Bank Arena. They have been part of the NHL since 1993 and won their first-ever Stanley Cup championship in 2024.

Florida Panthers History

The Panthers franchise was announced in 1993, and later that year, the team played its first NHL game. They set the record for most points by an expansion team in their inaugural season, and in 1996, they reached the Stanley Cup Finals. The Panthers won their first Cup in 2024, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7.
