Brad Marchand is a natural-born leader, so it didn’t come as a surprise when he was named the Boston Bruins’ captain following Patrice Bergeron’s retirement from hockey.
Marchand tends to be the one who screams at opponents, officials, and other coaches, and demands more from his teammates, but during this weekend’s game between the Bruins and Utah HC, Marchand found himself as the one being screamed at—this time by his own coach, Jim Montgomery—and the video has now gone viral.

Marchand rarely makes big mistakes during games—he’s known for his consistency and ability to stay focused—but during this weekend’s game against Utah HC, he had a costly turnover that led to a goal, and Montgomery wasted no time letting Marchand know how he felt about it.
The goal would later be overturned for offside, but the video of Montgomery furiously yelling at his captain on the bench quickly made the rounds on social media. But if you know anything about Brad Marchand, you know that he’s more than likely to take it the right way and bounce back.
