We all know Brady Tkachuk is a tough player who will take a fight or a tackle for his team. But last night, the crowd at Canadian Tire Centre got to see their star forward show off another side.
Brady Tkachuk put up a big time-performance against the Stars, finishing the game with three points and a game-high seven hits in the 4-3 OT win.
Corey Perry put his stick in between Tkachuks’ skates, which led to a two minute penalty. However, the officials also put the Ottawa man in the box for embellishment.

Early in the third period, Tkachuk was in the spotlight once again. This time with Stars’ goaltender Anton Khudobin.
The goaltender got a two minute interference penalty after grabbing Tkachuks’ hand, and yelled at the 20 year old.
“I told him [he’s] too young to dive. I mean, a great player and not a problem, but there’s no diving in hockey. That’s it. Bottom line”, Khudobin said after the game. “He grabbed my hand like ‘OK, smart penalty, no doubt about it,’ but I told him.”
