The Ottawa Senators struggled with the offensive production last night against the Colorado Avalanche, putting up their first shot on goal with less than two minutes to go in the first period.
When Brady Tkachuk finally managed to get a shot on goal the Ottawa crowd mocked their own team in the most hilarious way.
Canadian Tire Centre erupted with loud cheers, taunting the team for not producing a shot in almost an entire period.
However, the team shortly afterwards got back. Brady Tkachuk tied the game only a minute later. That didn’t help the team however in a 4-1 loss with rookie Cale Makar putting up his 39th and 40th point of the season.
It wasn’t only inside the arena the mocking went on. On Twitter the Senators got their fair share of taunts as well.
