The time has finally come. According to Sportsnet, Calgary Flames forward Jaromir Jagr will officially make his team debut Wednesday evening against the Los Angeles Kings.
After a summer full of speculations, Jaromir Jagr finally signed with the Calgary Flames. The Flames will be Jagr’s 9th NHL team once he steps on the ice, with a career dating back to the 1990 season.
This will be the first Canadian team Jagr will play for, and since signing for the Flames, he has only practiced with the team. But now it’s time to return to the ice.
Close to passing Howe
According to Sportsnet, the 45-year-old winger will be in the lineup when the Flames clash against the Los Angeles Kings Wednesday evening. So far, Calgary have earned two wins in three games this season.
Jagr scored 16 goals and had 46 points with Florida last season. He sits second in the NHL’s all-time points with 1914. Also, Jaromir Jagr’s only 56 games away from passing Gordie Howe’s all-time record of 1,767 games.
