Mike McCarron Obliterates Alex Petrovic in Lopsided Fight

The Montreal Canadiens haven’t had much to cheer about this season. With that being said, Michael McCarron had the Bell Centre on their feet Monday evening, when he absolutely destroyed Alex Petrovic.

McCarron is no stranger to throwing the gloves. The 23-year-old from Macomb, Michigan has recorded fights in the USHL, OHL, AHL and NHL. Alex Petrovic was in familiar territory as well. The two giants squared off but McCarron easily got the better of his opponent.

The altercation started after McCarron bumped into netminder Roberto Luongo. Petrovic stood up for his goaltender and dropped the mitts. Unfortunately, it didn’t go Petrovic’s way as he was dropped moments later.

Still, you have to give props to Petrovic for standing up for his team, even if he did eat numerous punches.
