Marc-Andre Fleury pulls off a prank in the middle of Wild game

Marc-Andre Fleury is one of the most well-liked players in the NHL, and it’s not just because of his legendary goaltending.

Fleury’s lighthearted personality has made him a huge fan favorite, and what he’s perhaps most known for—besides saving pucks—is his pranks. No matter what club Fleury has represented in the NHL, his teammates have been given a taste of what he’s capable of in various dressing rooms and parking spaces, and it’s given fans so much laughter over the years.

The new NHL season hasn’t even started yet, but it seems like Fleury is already in playoff form when it comes to pulling off pranks. Fleury didn’t get the start in Tuesday’s pre-season game against the Chicago Blackhawks, so he decided to do a little acting instead.

During the game, Fleury skated onto the ice, but it was hard to recognize him. Fleury had put on a wig, glasses, a fake mustache, and a backward Minnesota Wild hat as he skated out with Minnesota’s ice crew to shovel the ice during a TV commercial.

It was almost impossible to recognize him, and to be fair, his teammates would probably have noticed it was him out there on the ice if it weren’t for the fact that he skated by their bench, saying, ”Come on boys, let’s get it going.”

Fleury was in an intermission interview with local Minneapolis radio station KFAN, saying that he tried to skate to the bench as quickly as he could to not attract any attention, and we’ll have to give him that he did a pretty good job. It’s for things like this Fleury will always be a legend among NHL fans!
