Everyone’s favorite emergency goaltender is back!
Yep, Scott Foster, who played 14 minutes of action in the NHL last season was seen on the ice Thursday morning.
The accountant by day and netminder by night was in full gear as the Blackhawks prepare for tonight’s matchup against the New York Rangers.
According to Charlie Roumeliotis, Foster will not be made available to the media after practice. It is unknown why Foster was skating with the club, but speculation is that it was just for fun.

Foster became an overnight sensation after making an emergency appearance last season, allowing zero goals in almost a full-period of work.

This isn’t the first time Foster has appeared with the club since his debut, he has attended the Blackhawks convention this past summer while also making an appearance at the NHL awards.
