People on social media were fuming after Brad Marchand dropped Ryan Lindgren with a cross-check from behind at Madison Square Garden last night.
But some of the users got a respond from Marchand himself, and the words were not that kind.
Brad Marchand got a two minute retaliation penalty following the cross check on Rangers’ blue liner Ryan Lindgren.

After the game, Marchand continued with trash-talking Lindgren, saying he won’t last in the NHL.
“I didn’t even know he was here,” Marchand said. “He’s not gonna be a player who’s gonna have a very long career, so I’m not overly concerned about him.”, Marchand said.
The Bruins put up a 3-1 victory at the Garden, now travelling to Canada facing the Oilers Thursday.
Even though Marchand ripped Lindgren post-game, he wasn’t finished.
On social media, fans tagged Marchand telling the Bruins’ star how they felt about him.
Marchand took to Twitter responding to a couple of users in the most Marchand way possible.
