We’ve seen it plenty of times, when a celebrity gets on the jumbotron and he or she decides to chug a beer for the crowds excitement.
Last night, it was one lucky fans turn to do the same thing at Rogers Arena during the Canucks Predators matchup.
It was late in the third period when a fan decided to have some fun. The Canucks, up by four against the Flames, just tried finishing the game on a good note. But with less than two minutes to go, Antoine Roussel got angry with Yannick Weber and slashed him over the wrist, leading to Jarred Tinordi stepping in. But Roussel was not having it.
After a small dispute, Roussel grabbed Tinordis’ stick and threw it over the glass. One lucky fan catched it, but that wasn’t enough.
The fan was caught by the tv-camera, celebrating the stick catch by chugging his entire beer.
Fair to say, this guy had a good night.
