Evgeni Malkin is one of the NHL’s biggest stars and, without a doubt, one of the most skillful players.
Malkin is also one of the funniest guys in the league, and he’s proved it again after a celebrity meeting with NBA star player Steph Curry.
Malkin has always been hilarious, and he doesn’t even need to try very hard to get a laugh. Malkin is one of those guys that’s just naturally funny. He delivers awesome one-liners, and he often gets laughs by talking about his great confidence.
The Penguins have just wrapped up a road trip as they’re coming from three games in California. They first played the Anaheim Ducks, then the LA Kings Saturday, and then the San Jose Sharks Tuesday, which also meant they had some spare time in Cali.

For Geno Malkin, it meant being at the Golden State Warriors game Monday. But before the NBA matchup, Malkin visited the Warriors’ superstar Steph Curry.
The two stars posed for a photo, later published on social media, and the Penguins also shared an awesome exchange that the admins had with Malkin about the meeting.
Geno was asked by the Penguins what it was like meeting Curry. Malkin’s response was perfect.
”Steph Curry met me!” He said.
Steph Curry is a two-time NBA MVP and a four-time NBA Champion. Evgeni Malkin is a one-time Conn Smythe Trophy winner and a three-time Stanley Cup Champion. The Russian superstar has 54 points in 53 games this season in a Penguins team currently on the wild card in the league standings.
