The year is 2018. There are talks of not only sending people to the moon but to Mars. We have the ability to contact anyone in the world within seconds, get news in an instant and continuously see technological advances each week.
Yet, we’re eating Tide Pods apart of a new and crazy internet fad.
The Tide Pod challenge has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. It’s not here to raise money or bring awareness to a certain cause, it’s literally here to see if you can eat a Tide Pod. If Rob Gronkowski needs to address the nation because of this fad, you know it may not be the best challenge to participate in.
With that being said, it looks like Los Angeles Kings’ defenceman Drew Doughty has been labeled as a Tide Pod consumer. What was most likely supposed to be kept under wraps, a fan in Calgary revealed to the world through a sign that Drew enjoys the occasional Tide Pod from time-to-time.
To be serious, it was actually a pretty good roast from the fan who not only had the seat to bring a sign (and have it seen) but also the wits to think of something relevant and funny.
