The season hasn’t even started yet, and Connor McDavid is already scoring goals that just take your breath away. The Edmonton Oilers superstar has made himself known for scoring the craziest goals, dangling through the defense at a speed that the game of hockey has never seen.
Last season, he scored a couple of goals that made fans gasp, and last night, during a pre-season game against the Vancouver Canucks, he stunned hockey fans again.McDavid accepted a pass outside his own blueline and took off. McDavid skated passed one Canuck, then passed another, and then had Quinn Hughes against him.
Quinn Hughes isn’t just one of the league’s best defensemen, he’s one of the best skaters on the ice, but he had absolutely no chance as McDavid just blew past him. McDavid, of course, finished it off in great style.
