It was unsure whether the 45 year-old veteran would find a new club in the NHL before the start of the season. However, that’s about to change.

Closing in on Gordie Howe

According to Sportsnet sources, which has been confirmed by several news outlets, Jagr has signed a 1-year contract worth $1 million with the Calgary Flames. The club are yet to confirm the deal, which according to sources will happen when Jagr gets to the Canadian city.
