Brad Marchand loses it, appears to choke Nick Cousins

Brad Marchand has always been known for his on-ice antics, and on Thursday, he was up to his no-good shenanigans once again. His latest stunt, against Ottawa Senators’ Nick Cousins, has fans reacting to say the least.

Brad Marchand is a cult hero in Boston and, since the start of last season, the captain of the Boston Bruins. He’s always been a talented hockey player, and his name is engraved on the Stanley Cup.

But most of all, Marchand is known for his on-ice stunts. Over the course of his career, Marchand has been a pain in his opponents’ asses, and he’s famously known for breaking opponents’ sticks and, at one time, even licking them on the face.

Brad Marchand loses it

Since he got the ’C’ on his chest, Marchand has toned his antics down a bit, but Marchand was back to his former self during the Bruins’ 2-0 win over the Senators on Thursday. During the first period of the game, Marchand started a little argument on the ice with Senators’ center Nick Cousins.

Suddenly, things escalated as Marchand took off one of his gloves and appeared to be choking his opponent by the neck. Cousins didn’t fight back, and officials were quick to break up the scuffle. Marchand wasn’t penalized for his actions, but many now believe that Marchand may face a suspension.
