The Flyers’ mascot Gritty has been known for his disrespectful persona towards other teams’ fans players and fans. During games, he has been seen throwing cakes and other things at fans, and also, the big orange creature’s trolling players.
Last night, the Boston Bruins played the Philadelphia Flyers in Pennsylvania. Boston game out with the victory 2-0, ending the Flyers nine-game winning streak and at the same time being the first team reaching 100 points this season.
Of course, Gritty was in attendance. And during the game, the mascot definitely made sure that Brad Marchand remembered the last time playing at the Wells Fargo Center, completely destroying the Bruins’ star.
The last time the two teams squared off, Brad Marchand ended the game in bizarre fashion, missing the puck in the shootout when needing to score to extend the game.
Gritty? Well, he knew what had to be done.
