Paul Bissonnette claimed he “took some, gave more” when fighting up to seven guys at a restaurant in Scottsdale on Sunday. On Tuesday, the identities of six men involved in the fight were revealed, along with their mugshots (see the bottom of the article), proving Bissonnette was absolutely correct about “taking some, giving more.”
The shocking news broke Sunday night about Paul Bissonnette being involved in a massive brawl at a restaurant. Bissonnette claimed he stepped in to defend the manager and staff of the restaurant after a group of “drunk golfers” became loud and aggressive when one of the men was asked to leave.
After one of the men got in the manager’s face and even laid a hand on him, Bissonnette intervened.
Identifies revealed after Bissonnette’s fight
Bissonnette said he was a bit roughed up after the fight, which continued through the restaurant and into the parking lot.
“Got taken down a couple of times,” Bissonnette said in a video on social media. “Got boot-f—ked a couple of times by the CVS. Luckily, didn’t get knocked out. Did go to the hospital, so that’s what everybody is reading about. Just bad dudes. Way too drunk, and I don’t know what else they had in their system.
“I’m very, very angry at these guys and kind of want their names out there and kind of want them to pay the piper.”
Mugshots prove Biz was right
Paul Bissonnette is a highly regarded NHL analyst for NHL on TNT and a co-host of the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast. He’s a former NHL player who dropped the gloves 69 times in his career, according to hockeyfights.com. Six men were arrested, but until Tuesday, their identities remained unknown.
Yesterday, however, the Scottsdale Police Department released the mugshots of Henry Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley, Edward Jennings, and Sean Daley, who allegedly fought Paul Bissonnette. The mugshots proved Bissonnette was right about one thing in his story: he took some and gave more. The men all seem to have a few cuts and bruises despite being five or six against BizNasty.
According to TMZ Sports, the six men were taken to jail on assault charges, with some also charged with disorderly conduct, per TMZ Sports.
