
Trailing by five goals late in the third period, Brody Duncan of the Mentor Ice Breakers took a slap shot at the Carolina Thunderbirds in the Federal Prospect Hockey League FPHL).
Players from the Thunderbirds rushed onto the ice starting a huge brawl, and Duncan is said to have gotten a long suspension.
Brody Duncan of the Mentor Ice Breakers in the FPHL got a history with the Carolina Thunderbirds. In december 2018, Duncan clashed with Thunderbirds’ Karel Drahorad in one of the biggest fights of the year.

This time however, the forward chose another way of getting in trouble.
With only seconds left of the game, Duncan took a slap shot against the Thunderbirds’ bench.
A couple of players jumped on the ice, with forward Michael Brunn getting a 5 minute major for fighting and a game misconduct.
Duncan also got a game misconduct and a 5 minute major spearing penalty.
Duncan is said to have gotten a 15 game suspension following the incident.
