There are plenty of players you don’t want to meet on the ice. Two of them, George Laraque and Tie Domi, always managed to seek out trouble when you least expected it. The two troublemakers were in several crazy fights during their days in the NHL, but one time it was going to be extra special. When they met in the neutral zone – and challenged each other once and for all.
The fight of fights
In the game between Domi’s Toronto Maple Leafs and Laraque’s Edmonton Oilers during the 2000-2001 season, they faced each other in what was going to be the fight of fighting champions. And what happened next didn’t disappoint one single hockeyfan in the entire stadium.
