When the NHL is on TNT, there’s no shortage of chirping. TNT’s broadcasts have been a huge success, and the reason behind that is how the broadcasts are filled with laughter and entertainment and that it’s big personalities all around. So when you have studio personalities like Paul Bissonnette, Rick Tocchet, and Henrik Lundqvist, stories will be told, and chirps will be flying all around.
Last night, ahead of the Calgary Flames contest against the Anaheim Ducks, Matthew Tkachuk stopped by for an interview from the warm-ups. And, to no one’s surprise, chirps were flying.
Of course, Rick Tocchet had to ask the Flames player about his dad, the legendary Keith Tkachuk, but Matthews wasn’t late in chirping Tocchet.
” I think the big story with Tocc was that he always got the secondary assist added about two weeks later,” he said.
Tocchet wasn’t late at responding.
” Hey, kid, your dad was a king at’ please add an assist to Nr. 7, Keith Tkachuk. He used to take the time-taker to dinner. That’s the truth.”
Before Matthew got off, he also threw some shades at his brother, Brady, about growing hair. When asked what his father thinks of his new haircut, he said,” one of his boys can grow some hair, so I might be keeping it.”
