It was a Sunday to remember for Jean-Gabriel Pageau. The veteran New York Islanders forward was involved in just about everything as the Islanders held back the Devils, winning 4-3.
Pageau had scored just ten goals heading into Sunday’s game but suddenly scored three consecutive goals in the opening 25 minutes.
And if that wasn’t enough, he topped it off by doing one of the smoothest celebrations this season. Of course, caps and hats were flying into the ice from the stands, and Pageau took his stick and caught a hat on his stick.
Pageau catching the hat with his stick, spread like wildfire on social media, and not long after, a clip was published on Twitter from the stands of who threw the hat.
What an incredible moment!
