Robin Lehner has been out injured since the beginning of February but returned from IR on Tuesday night, ahead of the Golden Knights game against the San Jose Sharks. Lehner saved 16 shots and conceded one goal, as the Knights beat the Sharks 3-1.
But after the game, Lehner couldn’t help to take some serious digs at insider Frank Seravalli.
During Lehner’s injury, Seravalli reported that the Golden Knights goalkeeper had a torn labrum in his shoulder.
Further, Seravalli claimed that Lehner would require surgery at some point. But after his return on ice, he didn’t feel like talking about it.
“That’s a better question for Frank Seravalli, my doctor,” said Lehner, asked if he needs surgery.
“I’m not going to talk about injuries. Obviously what Dr. Seravalli wasn’t true. Obviously, I haven’t had a surgery, so I’m good,” he continued.
