The Hurricanes are back at it again, dropping hilarious comments during Conference Final

The Carolina Hurricanes PR team have been the talk of the town many times during the last season.

They have trolled players from other teams and supporters, and basically just made social media surrounding the NHL way more fun.

The Canes’ season ended in a first round defeat in Toronto, losing the series against the Boston Bruins 4-1.

“The maturity of our group from last year to this year, we’ve taken a huge step. We’ve closed the gap from the elite teams. I think we’re closing in,” head coach Rod Brind’Amour said post-game. “As long as we learn what it takes to win, which I think we are and we have this series, I think it’s going to help this group moving forward. Again, I’m just really proud of this team.”

But even though the Carolina players have left the bubble and the NHL season, the Hurricanes twitter account are still going strong.

Last night, the Dallas Stars won the first game of the Conference Final series against the Golden Knights with John Klingberg scoring the only goal of the game.

Some might argue that it wasn’t a game similar to what a Conference final game should be like. But the Carolina Hurricanes’ twitter account tried their best to make it more fun for everyone watching.
