On Thursday, Vegas enforcer Ryan Reaves and Canucks captain Bo Horvat stood side by side, speaking to the media about the postponement of the NHL playoff games on Thursday and Fridays .
“I go to war with these guys, I hate their guts on the ice, but I couldn’t be more proud of these guys,” Ryan Reaves said speaking about the many white players that also agreed on the postponement.
Vancouver Coach Travis Green commented by saying that there are things that are bigger than sports.
When the Canucks and Golden Knights faced each other yesterday, Green and Reaves was back focusing on the game. But they ended up engaging in a heated argument.
It all started with Reaves Reaves laying out Quinn Hughes. The Golden Knight wasn’t called for a penalty, with Travis Green being really frustrated.
At the bench, Reaves and Green got into an argument about the hit.
Post game, Green admitted that the call not to give Reaves a minor could’ve been right.
Vegas can advance to the next round by winning Tuesday, with the team leading the series 3-1.
