During Scott Hartnell’s 17-year career, he spent most of his playing days with the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers.
Splitting fourteen years between the two clubs, Hartnell played over 1000 games with the Preds and Flyers.
Last night, Nashville was in Philadelphia for a game and the night was dedicated to Hartnell. He announced his retirement in early October.

It was a big night for Hartnell. He dropped the puck for the ceremonial faceoff and joined the broadcast booth as well. The Flyers took care of their former player on his special night.
Current Flyers and Hartnell’s former teammates sent him some well wishes that were displayed on the jumbotron, but the best one came from Jaromir Jagr.
Jagr and Hartnell played only one season together, but the two formed a special bond over that 82-game schedule. Jagr congratulated Hartnell on his career and it appeared as if Jagr tried to recruit Hartnell over to the Czech Republic with a friendly jab.
Could we one day see Hartnell play overseas with Jagr and make Jaromir’s dream of playing with a slower linemate come true?
