Crosby’s Game-Tying Goal Was Straight Filth

Unless you’ve been living under a rock since Sidney Crosby’s NHL debut, you’ll know that Crosby is one of the most elite players to ever lace his skates. Last night, he once again showcased his skill in a phenomenal way.

Down 3-2 to the Montreal Canadiens, Crosby skated towards the Montreal goal. The puck bounced around in the slot and eventually came to Crosby’s stick. Sid the Kid batted it not once, but twice, controlling the puck in mid-air and burying it in the back of the goal.

Sid’s hand-eye coordination is insane and we saw a beautiful example of it last night. We should have known that Crosby could do such magical things. He once hit a home run at PNC Park in batting practice, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Crosby grew up playing baseball and his little league skills paid off in a huge way.

Pittsburgh would go on to defeat Montreal 5-3.
