Bruins get revenge with awesome troll of Paul Bissonnette

Brad Marchand and Paul Bissonnette talked for the first time since the Boston Bruins captain hilariously roasted the NHL analyst last week. BizNasty decided to escalate things with one of the funniest skits we’ve seen during an NHL broadcast.

Last Friday, Marchand jokingly said he was trying to look like one of the people who famously fought Bissonnette at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona—an incident that led to six arrests.

Bissonnette, clearly—but jokingly—took offense. During the pre-game segment of Wednesday’s broadcast, he “suspended” Marchand from winning the Mr. TNT award.

Paul Bissonnette ‘suspended’ Marchand

Bissonnette and the TNT crew taped a skit where BizNasty dressed up as “Peorge Garros,” the head of the Department of Broadcasting Safety, spoofing the NHL’s Department of Player Safety and its director, George Parros. In character, Garros explained that Marchand was suspended from competing for Mr. TNT, an award for the best chirper of the NHL season.

Marchand played along, joking that he would “definitely appeal,” before the real Paul Bissonnette appeared during the broadcast wearing a neck brace and head bandages.

“Listen, Biz, these guys are out here trying to do a job. You’re bringing them down,” Marchand said as Bissonnette chirped him about the Bruins’ poor power play. “All you do is horse around. I’m just trying to let them do what they’re supposed to do: talk hockey. And you’re creating havoc out there. It’s time to settle down, move aside. I think I’m moving in.”

Bissonnette mocked by the Bruins

Marchand went on to score two goals in the Bruins’ 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Bruins couldn’t resist roasting Bissonnette afterward. They posted a celebratory photo of their back-to-back wins, featuring a picture of Bissonnette looking bummed out in his neck brace and head bandages.

The post received over 7,000 likes on Wednesday night, with fans finding it absolutely hilarious, and we hope the feud between Paul Bissonnette, Brad Marchand, and the Bruins never ends.
