JJ Watt shares his thoughts on Paul Bissonnette fighting 6 men

Paul Bissonnette getting into a 1 vs. 6 fight at a restaurant in Scottsdale has been the talk of the hockey world for the past couple of days. Now, former NFL star JJ Watt has weighed in on the brawl, and he had some hilarious things to say about it.

Bissonnette was out having dinner on Sunday when a group of “drunk golfers” allegedly started causing trouble with the restaurant staff and manager. According to Bissonnette, he stepped in when one of the men, after being asked to leave, laid a hand on the manager.

This led to a massive confrontation, with Bissonnette claiming he ended up fighting seven guys as the brawl spilled from the restaurant into the parking lot. Six men were arrested, and on Tuesday, their identities and mugshots were released to the public.

JJ Watt’s thoughts on Paul Bissonnette’s fight

Although Bissonnette was taken to the hospital, he was released shortly after, barely showing any bruises. The six men, however, looked far worse for wear, supporting Bissonnette’s statement that he “took some, gave even more” during the fight. Now, Bissonnette has received high praise for holding his own from none other than former NFL star JJ Watt, who also joked that the “fantastic” restaurant involved was “worth fighting for.”

“I wish I knew [about Biz’s fight] earlier, cause it’s about three minutes down the road from me. That would’ve been a lot of fun,” Watt said on The Pat McAfee Show.

“Six dudes on one—like Biz is a badass of badasses, obviously. Is it like a basketball line? You take turns, like, ‘My turn, now my turn?’ Six dudes surround the guy, I’m so confused. Biz spinning haymakers, just spinning around.”

Watt also chimed in on the now-viral mugshots of the six men, and he wasn’t exactly intimidated by their appearances.

“They didn’t exactly look like Peaky Blinders out there, you know,” Watt quipped.

“They look like they’ve eaten their fair share of food and think they’re tough. But they clearly can’t actually brawl.”
