Connor Bedard stuns fans with incredible no-look assist

Connor Bedard is a thrill to watch at the moment. Selected first overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2023, he entered the NHL with huge expectations. Bedard, a generational talent, has been hyped up for years and didn’t disappoint anyone in his first-ever NHL season, leading or co-leading all rookies in goals, assists, and points.

He won the Calder Trophy and seems to have improved even more over the summer. He’s started his sophomore season terrific and added another two assists in the Blackhawks’ 4-2 win over the Sharks on Thursday.

Bedard now has seven points in five games this season, and one of his assists in the game against the Sharks was something out of the ordinary.

Nick Foligno scored on the power play to make it 3-0 just 43 seconds into the second period, and Bedard was the mastermind behind the goal, together with teammate Teuvo Teravainen, who’s also started the season with 7 points in 5 games.

On Foligno’s goal, Bedard took a stride toward the Sharks’ net, but instead of shooting or passing the puck to Foligno, who was in front of the net, he sent an absolutely beautiful no-look pass to Tuevo Teravainen, who redirected the puck to Foligno for an easy tap-in goal.

The video of Bedard’s no-look pass quickly made the rounds on social media, with many calling it the goal of the season so far.

”That’s the kind of play you just dream of when your team gets the PP,” one said.

”Whole play was chef’s kiss,” another said.

”That Bedard no-look pass is next level! Pure filth,” a third added.
