The Chicago Blackhawks have been a disappointment this season, but there have been some positives.
Connor Bedard has been just as good as fans had hoped, and he’s leading the league in points despite missing more than a month of play due to a broken jaw.
The Blackhawks have also found an unexpectedly effective duo in Bedard and veteran forward Nick Foligno.
The two of them have played so well together that the Blackhawks have signed Foligno on a two-year contract extension.
Blackhawks fans will see Bedard and Foligno together for a couple of years, and they absolutely love their chemistry.
On Wednesday, it was on display yet again during the Philadelphia Flyers, as they were mic’d up during a hilarious conversation on the bench.
Bedard and Foligno were caught mid-conversation on TNT’s Active Mic, and fans couldn’t stop laughing at their hilarious exchange, as Bedard seemed to ”piss off” his older linemate.
”Are you calling me slow?” Foligno asked Bedard.
”No, I said you were going slow,” Bedard responded.
”You’re pissing me off,” Foligno said, shaking his head.
If fans didn’t already love the chemistry between Foligno and Bedard, they certainly do not, as everyone found the exchange simply hilarious.
Foligno has been taking Bedard under his wings during his first NHL season, and this certainly proves it. What a moment this was, and we’re so glad we got the chance to hear what they say while on the bench.
