The NHL Winter Classic 2024 was a huge success, with a massive crowd at T-Mobile Park watching the Vegas Golden Knights and the Seattle Kraken.
The Kraken shut out the Golden Knights 3-0, but somehow, the man of the evening was Paul Bissonnette, commonly known as BizNasty.
He is an analyst for TNT and was on the panel with Anson Carter and Wayne Gretzky before the Monday game.
He received a lot of praise from supporters on social media. Bissonnette didn’t have the best NHL career, but he’s a highly well-liked media personality. He’s not afraid to speak his mind about various NHL topics, and over the years, he’s gained quite a few enemies around the NHL.
This season, he’s been in a huge beef with the New York Islanders, especially their former player, four-time Stanley Cup champion Butch Goring.
Goring has taken to Twitter to publicly slam Bissonnette several times after the analyst made comments about how the Islanders acted when the former player and current Maple Leafs captain, John Tavares, was treated when he recorded his 1000th NHL point in a game against them.
And last night, in the middle of the Winter Classic broadcast, Bissonnette was yet again slammed by another former NHLer, not because of anything he said on air, but because of his looks.
The NHL on TNT account on X posted a video of Bissonnette intensely writing something on a piece of paper.
“What is BizNasty writing down?” they wrote with the video.
Scott Hartnell, who played 17 seasons in the NHL before announcing his retirement in 2018, saw the video, noticed that Bissonnette’s pants didn’t go down far enough on his ankles, and hilariously slammed him for it.
“He’s writing a note to his ankles that they are having a party and to invite his pants down!!” Hartnell wrote.
The post from Hartnell quickly went viral, with everyone finding it absolutely hilarious. Bissonnette took it with ease, responding to the post with several Face with Tears of Joy emojis.
