The Calgary Flames have signed veteran free agent Jaromir Jagr to a 1-year contract, according to Sportsnet. The forward will sign a deal worth $1 million.
The Czech forward has been looking for a new NHL-club since parting with the Florida Panthers earlier this year. Since then, Jaromir Jagr has been practicing with Czech side HC Kladno.
It was unsure whether the 45 year-old veteran would find a new club in the NHL before the start of the season. However, that’s about to change.
